Someone told me the best run matches in Nevada are at Las Vegas IDPA held at Desert Sportsman’s. Is that true?

@johnwyliejr347 yes, CO follows ESP equipment rules which allow both comps and ported barrels as long as they are "incorporated into the firearm." Rules A.2.3.2 and A.7.1.1. As with many things in IDPA, the definition of incorporated has been subject to interpretation. My particular slide has the comp built in, there is nothing screwed onto or attached separately to the barrel. Hope this helps!

@onegudman7 awesome, thanks. I am still learning the rules only shot 2 matches thus far. Was hoping to make it to brpc yesterday but had family in town. Next month for sure.

@@johnwyliejr347 the BRPC matches are good but if you really want amazing stages, organization, good staff, and superior gameplay I recommend the IDPA matches out at Desert Sportsman’s. Word is they are the best run in the Western United States.

@@johnwyliejr347 The matches at BRPC are great but if you really want the best experience in the Western United States I recommend checking out Las Vegas IDPA at Desert Sportsman's Rifle & Pistol Club. Incredibly well run match with superior stages.
