I thought the 1st team looked good, regardless of the yards they gave up they still didn't allow a ton of points and in the NFL that's what matters, points scored, points allowed. Everyone needs to also consider, is that even when the first team plays in the pre season, they don't go all out because at the end of the day the game doesn't matter and no one wants to get hurt, not to mention the play calling on both sides of the ball is vanilla because teams don't want to show too much. At the end of the day, it was a successful practice. Go Raiders!!!!

They go all out at practice, but they are not going to go all out in a game? I didn't believe that. They gave up way too many big plays. Regardless if it's the preseason or not.

Missed the Vikes 1st possession. Were Wilkins and Jenkins both in at DT for that whole drive?? I saw on the long TD run in the 1st half that neither jenkins, wilkins or crosby was playing. Vikes kept running to the right side where Max and Wilkins play. Also, the safety who missed the tackle on the long TD run is either the 4th or 5th safety.

He was back-pedaling cause Parham was being pushed back into his lap. He wasn't falling back for no reason. You could say that he could have stepped up in the pocket but I'd say he guessed that he would have more time dropping back. The Ole block by the tackle made that a bad decision. As you pointed out Q nobody was open outside of the Running back in the flat but AOC wasn't looking that way. He needs to develop a feel in game situations. That's the only way that's really going to improve.

I think AOC can learn to move in the pocket better, but Minshew will not learn to throw that much better. AOC definitely has a higher ceiling and we should develop him instead of just doing the bridge QB.

Yeah, the clock management decision-making at the end of the game was horrible. That is very concerning not just on Antonio Pierce, but the assistant coaches who are supposed to be telling him here’s what we got heres what we should probably do …. That Can’t happen during the season… 🤦🏽‍♂️

"Clock management" was definitely weird. My first thought was that AP was trying to create end of game situations where the defense could not off the field and the offense kept stopping the clock on their own (time-outs, getting out of bounds, etc). But when the QB spiked the ball to stop it for the FG that should have been an intentional grounding because he pumped it once before spiking it, and by rule, that's IG. 10 second run-off, end of game. I think the ref told him that in a real game, they're going to call that.

Playing to get the ball back when you're leading instead of letting the clock run down and put the pressure on them to execute was the part that didn't make sense to me. But preseason is where you experiment with scenarios.

I'm SO fed up of the coverage in the UK... We used to have gamepass through the NFL but now we need to use DAZN. After Jack Jones interception it cut to commercial with NO replay. This is Hundreds if Pounds and year and the coverage is CRAP. I hope the NFL get lit up in this lawsuit.
