Yeah he got elevated from position coach to HEAD COACH immediately, how terrible. He wasn’t ready to be a head coach, should have never been hired in the first place!

His vision for the team included a power run game with Josh Jacobs and a dynamic offense with a mobile QB. That wasn't a part of the equation of what he was given. The team didn't even resemble the roster that he finished with last year. No running game and no proven passer. What would one expect?

They made him head coach and took away his franchise running back,got rid of hi #1 wide receiver, and wouldn't hire the OC he needed. They should have never hired him if they were going to cut him off at the knees like that.

How did he get screwed. He was a bad HC. The team gave the players and fans what they asked for and it didn't work. He screwed himself

Let's see.... They let the franchise running back walk... wouldn't sign a good OC.....and traded away their star receiver. ... That's seems like a pretty good screw job to me.

Many NHL teams have a "President of Hockey Operations". He runs all hockey related aspects of the franchise from the team,. to the arena, tickets, all that. He reports directly to ownership and is the GM's boss. And some of them love to also micromanage the GM.
