Charleston is a fantastic idea, especially with the snow in the winter. The next trip is not our usual 10 days, only 7 but, We’ll see if we can set a day aside for that. I know it will be worth it. Also, I’m tracking in the degen wisdom and will always switch to the dollar amount in the future. If our trips ever align, first rounds on us…. We actually DID stay up all night waiting for it 🤣🤣 I think it was 3am when we finally got to bed 😴 The guy we blanked out was the guy who ended up playing Buffalo all night🦬- we wanted to keep his privacy as much as possible because we were saying how much he was putting in. Another awesome Vlog Jason and Cailey! Our off/strip spot is the Grand Canyon. We cheat and take Maverick Helicopters 🚁 to get there. It’s pricy. However we will do this run when we win in Vegas. Boulder Station Casino looks pretty cool 😎 Interesting note: My parents owned a franchisee Spudnut Shop ( Potato flour Donuts) in Vernon, BC in 1967 until 1975. I noticed coffee cost you $3.49 at Boulders- coffee w/ refills in 1967 was only 10 cents - lol. How times have changed. Gotta try Green Valley Ranch - looks inviting. Was it worth it ? Too bad on The Tides Oyster Bar ; unfortunately they’re overpriced for the experience. How were crab cakes ? A friend of mine who use to work for NASA did some cool photos of M Resort when he was staying there. I’ll show you on Twitter. Love the architectural design. I bet you didn’t know I was an architectural draftsman early in my 1st career for 7 yrs. Cool their the official home for The Raiders ( love to go to one of their games when in Vegas ) . The Cosmo feels like home away from home - don’t you agree ? One word - B-U-F-F-A-L-O lol. Love the slot game but so hard to win. Thank you Jason and Cailey ! Another fun Vegas Vlog experience 🤩

Hey Chef Bari!! Thank you for coming back and watching 😍 we are yet to do the Grand Canyon but will definitely consider maverick helicopters to get over there! The only problem with that is we won’t be able to stop at casinos along the way so we may have to visit twice! Boulder station was great, the cafe we went to was delicious and very reasonably priced to us- not ten cents for coffee ☕️ but still ok for 2021 pricing 😂😂 Green Valley Ranch was great, we will have to go back but eat at Pizza Rock this time and hopefully win something! Tides Oyster bar was not a good idea, the crab cakes were also below average. 🦀 M resort was great too, we’ll definitely have to go back on an upcoming trip! The Cosmo is a home away from home 🏡 we feel so comfortable there, we want to try lots of different hotels but we always seem to end up coming back to the Cosmo 😍 the balcony and casino are just very hard to beat 🎰

Both of you seem so fun. Enjoyed this one as usual. I was surprised to see how nice Sam’s town is. As a solo I never venture off strip so am living vicariously through you. Just in case you aren’t aware, when the pot closes, the bonus is already predetermined. Doesn’t matter which one or how many you pick. You know they are predetermined if it doesn’t show you what is under the ones you didn’t pick. I don’t waste time trying to decide on those. Doesn’t mean you always get the mini, just means you shouldn’t agonize over which coin to choose. Heading to Encore in 4 days. This got me extra excited.

You should drive to Laughlin if you do a summer trip. Colorado River is very nice and clean....Laughlin is absolutely not Vegas, but if you like low rolling casinos, it can be fun.

Myself always rent a car - even when doing solo. Except for the upcoming one in January. It was brutal price-wise in april already, but said - FINE. But there is no God on this Earth I'll pay 600$ for an economy car for a week, let alone 1800$ for 3 weeks... Insanity!

And yeah, whilst it is not that much cheaper for Americans, coming from Europe, I got to have insurance, and that place, who sells the car for a week for 600$ used to do the same for around 150$-200$ max for an SUV pre Covid with insurance up to 10m$ and no deductible, 1 full tank gas... Just milking the tourists, nothing else really...

Thanks for watching! We totally agree that they’ve jacked up the rental car prices. Last trip we have a Dodge Ram for $32 and this trip was four times that amount for a much smaller vehicle. We really enjoy the days with the rental so for us it’s worth it but we can see why it wouldn’t be for everyone 🚗

@@TheCoinShow88 Nah, there are principles around. I'm totally fine with the bus really - 20$ for 3 days, and barely anyone uses it, so it is comfy. Also it reaches most places you would do with a rental, except ofc for Primm or like the actual Hoover Dam, maybe the Red Rock Canyon, but like from the Strip you can get to Red Rock (casino) in like 40 minutes, one bus, stops almost at the entrance. Actually, principles are same with Bacchanal for instance - there is no way I'll ever pay actual money for that place. If it is comped, sure, but it does not worth the money they ask for just as the rental cars. Insanity A to Z.

For us, we love the rental car because we can come and go as we please. Convenience is a massive thing for us because we like to squeeze so much into one day. Adding an extra 20 mins onto travel time or waiting for a bus would mean we’d miss out on something else. We’d much rather pay the extra and save time on travel time or waiting for buses. With a rental you can keep your belongings in there while you hop from place to place too, again convenience. We loved baccanal buffet and we definitely got our money’s worth in crabs legs 😂🦀 That said you’re spot on with the prices in Vegas going up and if the prices go up any higher we’ll probably be taking the bus as well 😆

@@TheCoinShow88 It is once again about principles - for me at least. I just don't stand the constant milking of tourists there. Heck yeah, I'm all over the rental car - especially that pre Covid you could hire cars not being available here in Europe at all for literally dimes almost (here a Fiat 500 hire can go as much as 1000€ for a week with 5000€ or so in deposits, you practically pay the car in full to hire it...) . But I can spare 1000$ over 2 weeks, I can fit in almost as many Uber rides I want into that, let alone bus passes. I would say I'll spend an extra say 10 hours maybe without the rental car over a 2 weeks period, ,so that comes out to be 100$ an hour of "wage". I'm in! And of course, if you are a seafood person, as most of the Europeans are not, because why would we really, it can surely be a sort of deal. But other than that, this place does not deserve the hype at all. Excalibur presents a much better value (especially that it is comped lol).
