To be fair, restaurants, Grocery stores and other services have to throw away a lot more food than they just used. I believe a lot of TV shows and movies end up using fake food. Because it might take a couple hours to shoot one scene. We do waste a lot of food in the united states and elsewhere. The only thing I can suggest Is that you make sure you use up leftovers and if possible?Give food away to others who need it. There's always. Gonna be stuff That's thrown away. You might look into composting if you have a garden. Or makes smaller portions and smaller entrees at home.
