My friend is from a large family, and when they traveled her Mom cooked all of their dinners in a crock pot in their hotel room. They had a simple breakfast, sandwiches and fruit for lunch, did their sight seeing. And when they got back, dinner was ready. Smart!

It's actually really good! I didn't know if my version of lasagna was going to work, but it turned out great! I use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef, and it doesn't matter. Really good, and you don't have to time it, it's ready when you are.

I made it today. I used my own lasagna recipe (used turkey meat instead of beef) & followed the rest of your instructions. It came out good. Who knew you could cook lasagna in a crockpot. Thanks again.

This is the Best way to enjoy lasagna! It’s divine 🤤 Had family in from Cali. They had dinner plans but needed a bite to hold them over. I offered them a small dish of the only thing I had ready & it was our crockpot lasagna (which I was worried might need more time yet didn’t wheww ) and they all went crazy over it! I eat clean and have a lot of dietary restrictions to accommodate within our family & they eat even cleaner than the gluten free/low sodium/sugar free meals I make. Lol Still they were ooooing & yummming with each bite. They asked for my recipe and it’s now enjoyed by our family on both coasts 💝 10/10 recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One difference from cooking in the oven that my family did not really enjoy was the texture of the noodles. The long cook time gives noodles a distinct "gumminess" that isn't pleasant to some people.

I just asked….if the noodles were doughy or cooked well in the crockpot. I hope I get a reply because when I used no boil noodles in the oven before…..they were doughy. Like you, I hope the crockpot solved the issue.

When I make it in the crockpot, i only let it go for 2.5-3 hrs. That way the noodles are still firm and not gummy
