Cut settings I used on wood not quite 3mm thick. Power 100 D 10 passes 30.

I use other laser to cut and LP to engrave, cutting with LP2 or even LP4 is not the best. Even my 30w atomstack can cut 12mm of wood I still prefer my band saw unless it is a very details cut.

I have contacted them via Fb before and usually got back quickly. Currently Covid is affecting Asia and many offices not functioning. Have you tried Facebook official page ?

You mean make another video on doing dog tag and glass? I have to say tho the LP2 is so easy to do with phone and iPad, I prefer it over my atomstack A5 for simple engraving.

Be careful with their customer service. It is pretty much nonexistent. I own the LP1 and LP2. There seems to be an issue - software wise. I own a business and have projects due this week and has been 5 days with NO response. I have messaged them on FB messenger, over the app, and email. I haven’t heard back yet from them. VERY frustrating. I am currently looking for a different company that has similar product to purchase.

Hi thanks for uploading your video. Does this machine let you cut a shape and then continue to engrave the inside of shape? Is there a way for it to continue the item after cutting like a pause to go lighter to engrave the inside?

No it does not do that. Only way I know is to do cut and engrave and cut separately with the item fixed on the bed not moving

It should cut the inside details of the print before the outside. That way it doesn’t drop out of focus.

Всё дело в фокусировке луча. Из-за того, что используется защитный щиток, который по фокусному расстоянию равен 11 см от линзы до поверхности, под этой поверхностью происходит расфокусировка луча, т.е. точка становится больше и не хватает мощности для выжигания. Как вариант: убрать щиток, надеть защитные очки и опустить лазер на пару миллиметров ниже, чем 11 см. Тем самым в нижней части доски будет сфокусирован луч, а не в верхней

So true, I wish the beam is narrower as it is quite hard to cut thicker materials at the edges of the 10cm bed. One could have separate drawings just for the edge and lower to cut through but the line will not be as perfect etc. for cutting I now have a atomstack x20 pro which cut up to 8mm ply with no refocusing needed. It does not engraving anywhere as neat as the LP2

Does it cut? Yes. Was it right tool for the job? No. Looks like I did send the right message. I have a atomstack x20 pro and it cut clean 15mm oak, waiting for opportunities to try out some CO2 next …

Don't buy it it doesn't do what it's supposed to do
