Where i live in Lexington,Ky we have a laserwash g5 it is called Shammy´s auto wash. It has the exact same arm

I don't know why this is. But it seems like G5s car washes start from the left side and go clockwise around the car when most other LazerWashes and washes like the LazerWash often go counterclockwise. Not sure why that is.

We have a laser wash g5 here at the USA car wash in Texas but sadly it's closed and has not been opened since 2021 or 2022 I think.

Nice an older model of laser wash some of these PDQ Carwashes got replaced with a Laser Wash 360 or an PDQ Tandem Surfliner Carwash.

This wash has actually been replaced with a ProTouch Tandem! And the AVW mini tunnel across from it at the Circle K Station was replaced with a Mark VII system.

The Laserwash G5 uses a PDQ Viper V5 payment system. It runs Windows CE 5.0 on a ARM processor, and Apache 2.1 for remote management via an online dashboard. I know this since carwash owners keep their PDQ payment systems open to the internet and I have the programming manual for the Laserwash series. Basic authentication, no HTTPS. Very easy to hack.

I just visited a LaserWash 360 and it did the top wash (similar in terms of the program seen in this video) in just 5 minutes. Quite fast for a TF and about twice as fast as the G5-S seen in this video (though both are available from PDQ right now).

The dash cam requires me to either leave the car running or use accessory power. I also had another 2 hours to drive after this, so the files could have been overwritten before I got home to take them off. Long story short, sometimes it's just simpler to use a second standard camera.
