Laserwash G5 - Salem Laser Wash, Salem VA

While visiting Andrew out in Roanoke, I treated him to a car wash in nearby Salem. It ended up being a Laserwash G5, which did a predictably mediocre job cleaning the car. I did appreciate the opportunity to film one of these from the outside though.

I really enjoyed this one, I love these Laserwash G5 units with the onboard MaxAir drying unit, they don't do a great job at drying but it's the sound I love of them, as well as the chemical and high-pressure pump unit.

Yeah i agree that the onboard max airs on the G5 s dont work that well but the ones on the 360,360 plus, Protouch tandem,tandem surfline in my opinion actually do pretty well which is odd considering its the same drying unit

Nice! This is an older G5 since it has older signage. However it's a G5 S-Series since it has onboard MaxAir dryers.

Actually, the S-Series stands for "smart series." The S-Series means when the wash arm is in motion, it never pauses like the 4000 series.

being a detailer, I have no idea to why people still use these. Touchless does nothing and brush just leaves little marks in the finish under sunlight.

I think the detailer is saying that both touch and non touch car washes suck. And most do a terrible job if not causing damage.
