This video explains how to set up lasers at a venue and how the wiring goes for direct laser control via software (ArtNET is quite similar, just different operation mode). It starts with mounting the lasers to the truss, respecting laser safety related aspects, do the LAN wiring with integrated switch and with external switch and also deals with wiring of an E-Stop.

We'll consider this putting some more focus on the safety aspect, especially for the devices with ShowNET mainboard. @@LaserworldAG No this isnt what am looking for,, this is standard DMX controller , what am saying an actual lighting controller where its not doing anything when connecting via dmx and not using shownet or any other program

OK .... but there is no real difference. But we will make a video on this, starting from scratch and explaining everything. ShowNET is NOT a software, it is the intelligent mainboard inside the lasers and this is what you need to professionally DMX or ArtNET control lasers. So it's an important part to consider when DMX controlling lasers. We will make a video explaining this, also based on wiring, addressing and such.
