Tell you client to close her eyes and keep them closed . Use your tape to manipulate the top lid “ opening “ the eye. Don’t use your finger. Make sure the tape is doing all the work, and not you or your client. Same with the bottom of course. And that may help !

I do tell them this, Ive been lashing for 6 years so im aware that they shouldn't open them. I cannot force them to though. I find using my finger easier, maybe thats not your way of doing it but there isnt one way of doing things. Thank you for the advice!!

about how many lashes do you use per lash when doing bottom lashes? like do you use one single lash or 3?

hey boo, I pick up no more than 2 lashes so they won't have that chunky look, I like the to look as natural as possible.

I’m actually working with a lash tech now whose work I love but my retention, for me, is not great. I love her suite and her customer service & education so I have been trying to see if it’s a matter of the products or what because she has great retention with other clients. It’s been a little over 2 months of trying to get it together, we’re changing glues my next appointment and if it doesn’t improve I’ll be finding a new tech 🥺 all that just to say sometimes we don’t wanna just chair hop as clients. having experience in the beauty industry makes me more understanding of issues
