feels like this is a clickbait title. Lasha aint getting 500 kg. His 492 kg total is pre-injury and happened 3 years ago. He hasn't been in 10kg range of his 492 total after his injury.

If Lasha wins the Olympics in LA he’s the 🐐. No one has ever won 4 Olympics before. That should be his only goal at this point. We’re forgetting that Lasha would’ve lost Paris if the Armenian made his 256kg final C&J attempt

At this point I’d be happy to see some heavy training lifts from Lasha, although I doubt there’s much (if anything) we haven’t seen. 230 snatch would be cool to see tho

Have you seen what Kakhi said?? He said his dream is to see lasha win in 2028, and he also said that he believes that lasha's biggest totals are still to come. He's very high up in the Georgian federation.

his quad doesnt look as strong as it used to be and i think he cant match his Wr in c&j but i think maybe in some future competition they can squeeze out another snatch record out of him , he is simply leagues above anyone when it comes to snatch

Some Serious. Nice Vid as always. Lasha has spoiled us. I can remember people barely mentioning it when the record was at 472 20 years ago but almost as a fantasy. I think it will stay at 492 for quite some time. I think Lasha is even more than a once in a generation lifter, more like several generations. It would not surprise me if his snatch and total records held up for 30-40 years. The jerk not so much. I had hope for Alireza Yousefi 171-225 at 15yrs of age! He has done 246 since then so who knows, still only 20 yrs old.

We won't see a 500kg total. It would mean Lasha has to open too high and it's not worth the risk; He's not in the best shape ever; He doesn't need it to be a legend.

100% agree, he is only going for the gold, Gor or Lalayan would have to push him to an extreme I think none of them is capable to see Lasha trying to beat his records, is just not worth it 🥺

The only weightlifter in history, who can be compared to Lasha, is Vasily Alekseyev.

Vasily Alexeev meet at press conference in the 1970s died heart condition . Kasha also has heart condition .

500 ain't going to happen. Lasha looked beat after his final clean and jerk at the Olympics. His blood pressure has to be astronomical. I suspect he'll take a year off and then come back for the 2026 Worlds in Georgia.

There's no way we're seeing 500, the year for that would've been 2021 or something. He's so done with weightlifting right now, you can see his injuries have really halted his growth. He's really capped at that 220 snatch and 267 clean and jerk hard, he's able to do a good 10 kilos more in each lift I'd have no doubt but he just doesn't seem in shape for it anymore. The only hope for a 500 total would've been the Russians but after 2028 or 2032 I really can't see Olympic weightlifting being in too good of a state with the amount of drug cheats in the sport. If Lasha ever gets popped, it'll really ruin the sport. The IOC is just done with the amount of cheats in the sport and the corruption in the IWF as well. I'm just ranting anyways and just yelling at clouds but Olympic weightlifting is just such a joke when the North Korean team is allowed to compete at events and no one wants to admit the obvious that they're all juiced to the gills, not like any other athlete is different but the unanimous unspoken rule that no one is allowed to talk about how everyone is on juice is really tiring.
