I thought about Lasik but I don't want to lose the ability to see things up close. Currently, I can read the writing on jewelry.

Wow! 💯 It depends on your eyes. If you can still read small prints you might be years away from presbyopia. A consultation is your best bet. I was at the age where my sight was declining slowly already. I just waited too long to do it.

You had Lasik, then had it again for Presbyopia right?

No… it was one procedure. Presbivision… they take into consideration the presbyopia to calculate the prescription.
