Lasko 3733 Box Fan ‘Restoration’

I finally had some time to clean up this cigarette-infested 3733 from 2001 with the help from my friend, and I have to say that it came out extremely well.
This restoration isn’t perfect and wasn’t planned the way that it should’ve been, but I’m happy about the way it looks currently.

i enjoyed the entire video bro so glad you got it looking new again like out the box after all that hard work you got it running well. the galaxy i was going to say just buy a modern 3720 weather shield for the motor or either a 3733 just for the motor and handle and nob and restore it back to life that way then you will still have it it might be what it was before vintage but at least it will be useable again i can't wait to see more videos of it soon i really did enjoyed the video. bro

Tip for cleaning out grills: #1 take grills outside where there's a hose. #2 If u have a hose nozzle that has the diff settings use FLAT (I think that's it?) #3 spray grills with flat setting. #3 they should be good!!!

You gotta oil the shaft because u can see that the blade is turning slow and hard to turn but my lasko fan is so old but it still works and dirty and great job bro

That’s bearing I had the same exact thing happened but I pull it out and put it back in and put the clips back in oiled it and then it running very powerful

@@fanboy11thefanfanatic As common as they are, I oddly don't usually see 90's and early 2000's Lasko box fans locally, maybe once in awhile, but I never come across any used ones being sold. I did once see a 1997 Lakewood 200i for 10 bucks at a local thrift store, and I still regret not getting it.
