When Lassie's pigeon "Goldwing" loses a flight feather on his final test run for the big race and cannot fly, Timmy decides his pigeon "Ladybird" will compete instead. Little does he know that a local hawk targeting his birds in flight jeopardizes his plans for winning the race..
