Lassie - Episode

Two iconic actors have parts in this episode - Arthur O'Connell, an Academy Award nominee, who plays the old ranger "Luther Jennings", and Mike Farrell who would later achieve fame as Capt. Hawkeye Pierce's sidekick Capt. B.J. Hunnicutt in the 1970's hit TV war series "M.A.S.H." Summary: An aging ranger is very distraught after learning that he will be losing his job soon, due to a destruction project involving his survey tower. Corey leaves Lassie with the ranger for the day, and when the old man goes out for a walk, a marauding jaguar ambushes him. Lassie comes to the rescue to save his life and is injured as well.
