Lassie - Episode

Ranger Scott and Lassie fly in to survey the Superstition Mountains for a reforestation project to restore strip-mined areas. The mountains are also the location of the fabled Old Dutchman's gold mine that legend says is guarded by an old Apache Thunder God, Once at the canyon Ranger Scott helps rescue an old miner to take him to the hospital while Lassie is left behind to watch over the miner’s burro who, once the plane has flown off, decides to go in search of her suddenly departed owner.
