I just started watching them for the first time a few months back, and yes, the Timmy (and even Jeff) episodes WERE addictive. The ones with Corey and the others? um, not so much!

When Lassie was on you could see ,tell that she (Lassie) cared about people,animals . It's wonderful that back then there was a show such as Lassie. If I could've had a dog I would've wanted a collie that I could've called Lassie . I would've loved the dog forever .

Corey was badly burned fighting a wildfire at the beginning of S15. Once Lassie saw his dire condition for herself, she allowed Scott and Bob to take great care of her!

Corey got fired from the show because of his drinking problems. He was caught in a circle of fire and got badly burned and had to go to a hospital for so many months (and still there was no guarantee he would live). Scott and Bob were his best friends and they took her in

There have been sooooooo MANY of these Lassie episodes since Timmy left that I had to scroll through. I didn't like Corey NEARLY as much as I did Timmy and Jeff, but I was getting used to him. There were SOME good episode with Lassie and Corey but not too many (and AFTER Cory; well.. FORGET IT)! There are several that I didn't care for but were a LITTLE interesting. I only give a thumbs down to the ones that were HORRIBLE (with no storyline whatsoever). I haven't done it alot; Lassie has been good for the most part, but I've given the show thumbs down different times, and this was one of them (I like Lassie for the most part, but I seriously don't know how 89 people could've liked this. The episode was EXTREMELY boring with NO storyline whatsoever util you were 18 minutes into it (when it was almost done).

But thats the appeal of it.....just a casual video no drama needed,,,its relaxing that way....just taking a trip through the forest with lassie seeing what she sees,enjoying the beauty of it all.

Krista, I disagree, Corey episodes was MUCH BETTER than Timmy and Jimmy. The Corey Episodes was more of LESSIE acting and showing how talented LESSIE Really werue as a Actor!!! Just Saying,!!!

I was born in the year 1960 and grew up watching the Ranger Cory and Lassie episodes every Sunday night and really enjoyed it back then, and it is still my favorite today of all the Lassie series. I also like the Ranger Scott and Bob Ericson episodes. In my opinion, the Holden Ranch years-- not all the episodes were great, but there were some outstanding episodes in that one too, which makes it my second favorite transitition for Lassie. Third favorite would be Jeff. Fourth would be the Alone Years (It's too heartbreaking to watch these particular episodes all that often) and fifth for me would be Timmy. I liked Jeff so much better. I never knew of Jeff's Collie until 3 years ago. I think I finally seen all the episodes of the original series by now. 😊

@@jilldowns8330 I never knew about Jeff's Collie til about 3 years ago either. I didn't even know Jeff EXISTED until about 3 years ago. Jeff and Timmy are equal; I like the both.... of course the show was better when both boys were younger
