Hello! Beautiful video this time. On so many levels😁. I can relate to wanting to go see that last waterfall. I always regret it if I turn back halfway on adventures. You must have had a feeling of accomplishment when you got up there, and probably a proud smirk on your face when reuniting with your friends who chose not to go to the top. Thank​ you​ for​ showing us your​ battle​ with the​ mountain​ as you​ climbed up to Level 7 of Erawan Falls. I plan to do the same thing, (max Level 4) with my daughter. Joe, well done on achieving level 7. In 2019 at 61years and 108kg I reached level 4. I decided that level 5 was one waterfall too far. I'll be back to go further next time. Cheers and happy new year to you and Gift.

Happy New Year to Joe and Gift. Wow. I thought Scotland had some beautiful places to visit but they waterfalls are a different level. Thanks for showing me that magical place. Makes me want to come back to Thailand even more. I go offshore for three weeks on Thursday the 6th so let’s see what February brings and hopefully I can get out there for a month.

You were brave Joe, especially with your foot. I hiked to the top on my first trip to Thailand in 2015, it's an invigorating and beautifully place. We stayed in the cottages at the bottom.

Great job Joe. I made it to the top in December 2019, and l remember the last two levels were rough terrain, let alone with a sore foot like you but l was able to give myself a reward of a swim at the top, but it would have been nicer to have less people around like you did.

That resort has the deals of the century! Especially the rooms are nice and clean and on the lake. Wow! wish you'd showed us more on the meals. And the National Park. Man! The water is so clean and clear. You don't usually see this down in SE asia.

Just did a National Park on New Years Eve day- 1600 meters to the top and going down was brutal! Some of the down trip by holding on to ropes and walking backwards. I felt that for two days after!

Way to Go JOE!!!! Im giving you points for having the bad foot --BUT Boom and I climbed that when I was 68 years old all the way to the top! BUT You lucked out my young friend there were NO walkways after level, 5 just climb up the dirt rock paths -we actually went up the rotten steps at 18:42 on the video, The heart gets a good workout Dont it . Notice how the climbers get younger as you go up and in better Shape !!. You pass the Physical test this year - That plank across the water is still there though !! What happened to the rest of the Bum's they chicken out ? I wish I could have been with you I could still do it again at 70 !! Randy + Boom .Stay Safe my friend !! Joe, thank you big time for this vid. I am sittin here 4 weeks after total knee replacement and watching this vid, the crystal blue pools under the waterfalls, the serene treed paths, and my pain vanished for 20 minutes. Maybe you have a calling to make visual healing vids, who knows. But if you make more of these vids, the quicker I heal, the quicker I get to PKK.

The area heading to Level5, with the Thai traditional female garments and cloth wrapped around the trees, is likely a tribute to a well known local spirit. There's likely a story behind it known by the locals. Probably a kindred spirit that often protects travelers in the area from harm of sorts. Congrats on the trek up to the top of the waterfall! That certainly looks like a good self challenge and well worth it.

I been to that waterfall... I went for a swim when I started to walk out.. had a nasty fall. getting out of the water.. the ground was so slippery. It could've been worse.. but was still a nasty fall.

Pretty amazing little houses, did you have much of an issue with mosquitoes? They usually pretty bad around bodies of water. Looks like a great adventure!

Great Job! I went of there twice. Once on a solo trip then once with my kids who were 18 and 22 at the time. They were making fun of me for pacing myself. On the way down some monkeys were getting aggressive and knocked fruit out of some girls hands. I went by and after I did one of the monkeys jumped up on a rock so he was almost at face level and my son stared him down and he submitted and jumped down. At that point there were about 10 other tourists and they all started laughing. My son looked at the group and said "what"? "Thats what you do" lol Of course we hired a driver from our hotel who picked us up and waited the 4.5 hours it took us then drove us back. We had dinner at our hotel which wasn't included, then my son stayed at the hotel and played video games and my Daughter and I went out. We went to the 10 baht shot bar and my daughter bought the bar a few rounds...lol We ate food at least 2 more times and closed the bars, the whole day cost us about $120 USD. When I come back this year, of course I have to go again for my wife...lol Its quite an experience when the fish pinch you if you stop moving.... Oh, almost left out I woke up at 7:30 am, I had to drag the kids out of bed around noon so we could check out.... Rookies should have paced themselves....
