You've got a lot of haul in this single video. Great one with it. My goodness, I love your hair. It's so beautiful. Haha

LOL it was a big book haul. It'll be awhile before we get anymore though. My husband's paycheck was cut and life it about to get very challenging. Or interesting. Thank you for the compliment. It's weird how dark my hair became after I had Prometheus. My hair used to be white blond as a kid. the Mexican girls in my area used to call me Goldilocks. 🤣

I love Charlie Kirk and his brain! His organization, Turning Point USA, helped win this election.

I have heard that and one of the men in his group knocked on approx 500k doors in PA?! That's amazing.

Yay for more books! Ha Ha Ha! My TBR bookshelf behind my chair is full. My husband was freaking out because they are 2 deep "You can't find anything when they are 2 deep" pshh. I know they are there. But I still go to the library in the next room or our big library and grab more. Or this week while I was waiting for my 12 yr old to get her 15 books for the week I had the librarian at the public library order me 2 Anthony Trollope books. I still don't have time to read. I should start a KZbin channel called books anonymous because I have a problem. Maybe winter will come soon... Have a blessed day!

LOL I love that your bookshelf is two deep and your husband is freaking out. LOL Of course you can still find what you're looking for. Do you carry books with you in the morning and at night? I have books on my nightstand for reading at night, but I carry them to the breakfast table. 😂 Just in case I might read them during the day. Even though I usually read different books during the day. I should leave them on the nightstand, but I can't leave them there. Hooray for Anthony Trollope books. My brother has been visiting, so I haven't been on booktube much. I'm not sure if he's leaving today or tomorrow. I say YES!!! to you starting a booktube channel. 📚🤗💗 thank you. I hope you have a blessed day as well.

@BookZealots I do carry books around but rarely am able to read more than a page or 2 if I'm not in my room. We have books accessible in almost every room in our house. I have a strict rule of no reading during meals. We all have our noses in books enough and we need to talk more...with the exception of lunch. When my husband is finished eating he reads a few pages in either constitution/history or religious education for everyone and discuss. You homeschool so I'm sure you know the importance of slipping educational opportunities in where we can. Yay for visiting family! I'm thankful for a phone call now and then. I'll keep thinking on that channel. It all comes down to time. My husband has had ideas for his book channel, but his plans and my ideas are very different. We'll see how it goes.

@@Fernie4243 LOL Every moment can be an educational moment. 💗 My son and I can spend hours talking. It's so amazing to me, because he's the one I spend the most time with of my three, but when we get together with his older siblings, the conversation is different. Not bad, but doesn't flow as smoothly. Let me know if you decide to create videos so I can I subscribe. =)

The book about corporate communism is what I'd like to read, followed by Lies My Liberal Teacher Told Me.

Hooray! I was a little worried the bookhaul would be too polarizing, but it was a strange mix.

Hi, hello and what a haul! I got nothin to add but just wanted to check in lol Hope you have a good reading month! I'm done with all my library books for the month, so it's time to catch up with my purchases. Gonna finally start the new Lee Child tonight (In Too Deep) and then a short story from the new James SA Corey book series (Livesuit) Take care and see ya on the next one!

How many library books do you check out monthly? (on average?) My reading month is turning out really well. And my brother was here visiting and if he stayed longer it definitely would have cut into my reading. LOL The Jack Reacher book sounds interesting. I hope you enjoy both of your books. 👍

@@BookZealots Oh wow what a question! I actually got curious earlier today and made a quick spreadsheet of all the books I read this year and if I bought or borrowed them, plus added prices to see what I'd save at the library. Very cool huh! As of now I'm at about $560 for library checkouts and I'll sort them by month later and see what the average is Glad you had a great month!
@BookZealotsАй бұрын
@@holt_arr hahaha, I like that. My question seems to be timely. I recall seeing the prices on the library receipts. It's new prices, so doesn't reflect what I save since I buy mostly used. Why don't libraries get discounts? Or do they? Wow! $560 saved from checking out at the library is cool. Do you have to pay library taxes? On my property tax bill I paid over $200 and I know I didn't get that in my return from my library, because they hardly ever have books I'm wanting to read. so I end up buying them.

The books on education and corporate communism sound interesting and full of enlightening information. I’m curious to hear your thoughts on them once you’ve read them.
@BookZealotsАй бұрын
Hi Lindsey! I might let those two skip the tbr line. I don't like reading Prometheus's books, because I'm usually not allowed to annotate. LOL And I annotate nonfiction books. I know you've posted a video. My brother has been visiting, so I haven't been on booktube much.
@lindseyreads5450Ай бұрын
@ The pros and cons of annotating books would be a fun video. You and Prometheus could discuss your decisions.
