Dave I just ran across your videos on knife making, I bought a forge an built a 2×72in belt grinder from a treadmill an just getting into knife making, you are very inspiring I really enjoy your videos your very talented, keep the videos coming im learning a lot thank you brother!

oh Dave, someone is in the same mood i am full on smart ass!! i like my oil around 115- 120 for hardening but i forge my stuff! and i like a blow torch on the spine for straightening myself but i'm not normally doing knives

Awesome Dave, looking forward to the grind. You make the oven? I need to get one of those, currently just have a gas forge. Always seems to be a challenge to heat treat with gas. Keep up the good work!

Yeah, I actually made 2, but the 2nd one had some wiring issues I didn't feel like messing with. It's actually pretty easy,. Welding was the hardest part for me. Yeah ovens make all steels possible too. I built a gas forge, but quickly upgraded. Thanks, have a good one.
