Very true. Worked in one for many years and end of the night can get strange. Also at would turn on the lights around 3:30am (we stopped serving at 3am) and the effect it had was always hilarious. It was like people had become vampires after being in dim lighting so long and they all shreaked when we turned on the light. Plus you could literally see how wasted somebody was by how disheveled they were. And the funny part for us was watching them see in full lighting the person they were flirting with all night and realise what they truly looked liked. It was the best job I ever had though, I had so much fun.

This sketch should be shown to anyone who thinks SNL isn't funny. Here you have an example of a superbly written sketch, well acted by two excellent comedians with great chemistry. I have never seen a bad SNL sketch starring Louis CK. Gotta give McKinnon her props, she was fucking masterful in this. Top marks !!

McKinnon carries this skit, the writing is meh - but damn, she is committed to selling it. Cast poorly this skit would have been horrible. I am not sure why she is so good at it but McKinnon does inadvertently funny skank so well. I haven't seen anyone who can sell that role so well as her. I think she is one good script away from an oscar for best comedic actress.
