Great lesson! I've always known this tuning as Sandy River Belle tuning.

@Freddie Frederickson I've heard it in G and double C, but it was taught to me in this tuning, and referred to as Sandy River Belle tuning. That's what's so cool about this music. The history of these tunes twists and turns, and varies based on where you learned.
