I preordered 3 of the reefers. All in the conspicuity stripe decoration. I look forward to the day when I unbox these. I took a closer look at one on display at the recent train show in Long Beach. The overall quality is what sold me on these.

The early Trinity reefers had too big of fuel tank. Smaller tanks had to be made and sent to railcar repair outfits to swap out on the cars. This was done because of tare weight. Fuel weight adds up. Less fuel= more french fries hauled.
