It is ongoing until May 15th for Kenner's school. Until we started doing this I wasn't aware of how common it is for a lot of places. People save them for kidney dialysis and the Ronald McDonald house collects them all year.
@jangles18399 ай бұрын
@@chadsfab how ironic to learn! I've been a dialysis patient for 20 years as of March 5th! Definitely not an easy row to hoe for sure and I feel for anyone who has to endure dialysis for any length of time. 💙🙏🏼
@chadsfab9 ай бұрын
@@jangles1839 Sorry you've been going though that, and for 20 year 😥 You might want to ask the facility that you have your dialysis done at, see if they take the pop tabs. It was all new to us until Kenner's class started collecting them and WOW have our eyes been opened to just how many places take them. Best of luck and prayers to you with all you're going through.

The bumper work is bringing back memories of my first job after high school. I was the grinder that would remove the rust, loose chrome and hammer marks after a bumper was straightened. The owner had “patterns” for each bumper, they would get a new bumper and trace the top edge, the bottom edge and the ends on a sheet of paneling. So if you have access to a good straight bumper you can make your own pattern.

Build the bumper mount modular. Use the frame as the receiver and build bumper structure to fit into the frame tips. A few bolts or pins and it all comes out. Then you can have the structure you need for rubbing rocks.

Back in the 60's when i was a teenager we used to string the pop tabs together into a chain then hang them across our front bumper. Alot of times we removed the front bumper and installed pipe bumper then hung the tab chains from that. We also put those wind in coil spring spacers in the front springs to raise the front end up. Of course, we kinda messed the ride smoothness up doing that but it looooooked coooool
