Happy New Year. Because of you I got off my lazy duff and made all kinds of Christmas candy and my kids loved it. I told myself, If Stacey in a wheelchair can do it I can do it. So I did. I made chocolate fudge, peanut butter fudge, haystacks, candied pretzels, peanut clusters and chex party mix. My children and grand children were in heaven. Every year I would get the ingredients and then piddle fart around and not make anything. I'm so proud of myself for actually doing it this year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 🥳 Peyton has a very cool tattoo. I have three but they’re not as cool as his. We ordered Chinese food also. Ordered it at 5 pm and were told it would be ready at 8:30 pm. They were very busy. When my husband went to pick up our order, there was a lineup waiting for their orders. He finally arrived home at 8:45 pm and I was ready to attack anyone who got between me and my Chinese food. We have enough food left for today so I’m happy! Low key evening for us as well….watched some hockey, a Denzel Washington movie, some KZbin videos then went night-night 😴 I actually made it past midnight! My word, your dad tells the best stories from his navy days. We love you too Stacey, Humper and Kitty 🤗❤️❤️🥰🐱

Happy New Year, too. You should be here in Texas, where the neighbors celebrate very loudly with fireworks. They do it every year, and I always hate the noise. Everyone complains about it. Happy new year kids! 🎉 My sister sent me a picture today of a letter my dad wrote to his mom and dad from March 8, 1945. He was in the Navy and the return address was San Francisco CA. He was talking about body surfing 🏄🏻‍♀️ in the waves. He was 18 then. The stamp was six cents! I miss him. Anyway, now you have me craving Chinese food! Wishing you both a happy and healthy new year.
