I'm not American born so getting hold of sci fi magazines when I was a not was a luxury my father risked his life to provide me with , when we fled libya then Lebanon in 1952 & came to america these old sci fi magazines helped teach me to read English , back then I couldn't understand as a boy why we didn't have science fiction because of Islam , now that I'm a grandfather I cherish passing these memories down & use these stories to explain how truly blessed US born kids really are .

Ever tell your grandkids that Genie Energy which has on their strategic advisory board Dick Cheney, Rupert Murdoch, Robert Woolsey, Jacob Rothschild, and other criminals inked a deal with Israel to mine the oil of the Golan Heights on January 2013 - just before Assad supposedly used the banned chemical weapons to supposedly murder civilian populations for no discernible reason that gave the United States the one excuse they needed to bomb Syria for 3 years - despite that fact Assad has a military and an airforce under his command? My family escaped Poland just before it fell to Nazi Germany, now I have to deal with the 4th Reich here. Maybe you ought to tell your grandkids about that.

If it was 1939 and you were in Germany, you would be fanatically supporting anything your government was doing then, because you're an NPC. And you, claim, to believe that. Find that weapons of mass destruction program in Iraq yet? Because the same lying scum that said that happened, are telling you Assad is VERY BAD MAN. Go verify Genie Energy's complicit deal with Israel in early 2013, and verify the monsters they have on their strategic board of directors. We're already in fascism, and it's YOU defending it, I'm undermining it. Fascism is when a group of corporations, ENTIRELY dictate the government's actions. Not all corporations are part of it, of course.

Timothy Dingman It's unfortunate that Piper didn't live long enough to write more interesting SF. I agree with you that he definitely influenced a lot of writers and never really got much credit for it.

The narrator has great inflection, perfect for the author but also just superior in general. Do you know if he's narrated any Jack Vance stories?
