Wow ive seen ALOT of guides but your's is the most detailed by far! I love how you explained each and every node in length to show how much knowledge you got too. I am so shocked by the attunement not being useful cause alot of the other guides out there said it was the 3rd most important stat.

When mainly focusing on Smite damage, mana gives you a lot more bang for your buck. I did a second version of this guide where I use Divine Bolts for clear and I do prioritize more attunement as that boost damage for both Divine Bolts and Smite.

Even low levels this build rocks. Even at level 25 you can get the smilte/healing combo working. (as an aside I personally I would sacrifice 300 levels of corruption to have shield rush, so I am planning on gimping some dps so I can run with a shield when running monolith, then switch to focus for bosses. )

Your build guide is once again 11 out of 10, and I've been playing this build since Monday after it came out. I really tried to love it, and it's the best boss build I've ever had, but man, the clear speed just isn't there which makes it really painful to progress. I also had no luck getting the adorned idols with these exact affixes, but I guess that's just bad RNG. So I'm a bit disappointed, but still wanted to say thanks for this video and the previous one. I learned a lot about the game itself, and I can still use the hero to kill any T4 boss with ease.

Excellent video and build. I play smite paladin too, but i play the lightning version. I tried fire base too earlier, but the clearspeed was sh*t, i had too little AOE. Then I saw Steelmage's build who inspired me to try lightning smite. The dmg is almost the same like the non-crit fire smite, but the clear is more comfortable whit the plus lighthning strikes, and the electrify dmg is suprisingly good too

None of the uniques are required for the build so your first priority should be getting to empowered monoliths and then start target farming.

I much prefer CoF. Technically MG is stronger once you are level 10 but I strongly disliked how they set up the leveling. It really gives the top 1% a massive advantage(even though I am the top 1%). I also find that dropping my own gear to be a lot more enjoyable.

Sadly you can’t really use throwing abilities with healing hands. It will only proc the healing hands with a direct melee attack or smite cast. Not a proc of a smite cast with hammers. I show all uniques on the filter but not exalted items for other builds. I play CoF so I get like 80 exalted items every echo haha.

Check out the glove crafting time stamp. Super easy to do but it doesnt proc the healing to ward unless you put one stat on your gloves.

Hey, nice build guys, i'm already in HC with this and it's amazing, i have one question, it seems the " immunity to damage while moving " node for healing hand is bug, it's doesn't work, and when you alt on it there is a random description doesnt match with the node, i'm dumb or it's a bug?

It was definitely working for me. I’d commonly use it to dash through the meteors from the shade boss at 1k corruption. If you put your mouse cursor not very far in front of you, the dash will be very short and you won’t have a long immunity time. I haven’t looked at the tooltip.

For who finds this: Nvm, the difference in the initial points allocation doesn't really matter, this build is OP anyway, so you have time to adjust, and btw it's incredible how tanky this build is.

There is a slight difference between the leveling planner and the spell caster version but the spell caster version should match up. I used the planner in the video to do the recording.

Healing first and fire/spell actually scale the same. I just put out an updated guide that gives you screen wide are clear as well. Id check that one out for a better all rounded character. Hope this helps!

You can use Javelin as a banner but it is a drastic decrease in damage.

It clears more like a melee build on big packs. Getting +levels to healing hands gets you way more area of effect as well. I did not get that slam on my help sadly.

Got a question, in the level 1-25 part you spec into Conviction, saying you wont need to respec it later as the fire damage and fire pen still applies for Smite, but then in the 25+ part of the passive tree you spec the first 5 points in Paladin tree into Defiance. Which one should you go with?

Oh I did that just for the resistance early while leveling. Both are completely fine and should make almost no difference.

Decided to go with damage until you eventually replied but had to respec it into res later due to my horrible luck in both drops and crafting for resistances. Looking at the finished product though, both of them are maxed out in the passive tree so I assume you’ll go back to it later once you hit level 80+ and respec into the one you didn’t take? Edit: also, any tips on how to acquire the legendary gear shown? I saw where you can target farm, but I am new and do not quite understand how to get legendary gear yet. I managed to get the relic as a unique on my offline character and my online one has the amulet as a unique. And which unique / legendary is the most important for the build? Edit2: also with blessings, why is only half the slots shown in the build? Can you only have half of the slots used for blessings or is that only the ones that matter shown?

I come from playing PoE and Diablo in the past where PoE is overly complicated and Diablo is quite restrictive it feels like. Do you have the instant cast node on the sigil tree? It adds extra mana cost. You can always drop some of the mana nodes in the base sentinel tree to get less mana back on smite cast as well.

Not really as you would only benefit from the spell damage multi but would loose the cast speed buff it gives as we don’t stack int and the massive amount of less flat spell damage a normal wand has.
