This boss has been my biggest obstacle so far in the game, no matter how much res and health I stack his beam still one shots me, guess it's time to actually learn the boss mechanics, lol.

I didnt notice the red eyes, thanks. But my problem is that i made a smite paladin online caracter. I need to target lagoon on top of the screen to attack and it seems that i am not healed. In second phase too hard to attack and move to evade waves.

How come when I fight him he has two tentacles, one on each side, in the first phase?

Same here, I believe it's because we are fighting the story version of Lagon and this video covered the Monolith version, 2 different versions of the same boss.

Lagon was changed in a recent patch. It is now always the 2 tentacles on each side

balance is a bit off here imho. Game is super easy, like cutting through butter till lvl 74 now. But the lagon fights.. in story and in here.. i have alot of trouble killing the guy. Seems a bit weird.

You did the Champaign lagoon not the monolith version

Dude, I am level 73 I am all good on the fight until the waves in stage 3, there is no way at my level to dodge them all and can't tank them, I have all resistances at 75%. What level are you when you are fighing him. It seems a whole different game when you are level 73 and those waves just destroy you!!!

You probably need more HP, armor and endurance. And you can dodge them too!

And here I was attempting this boss with only 500 ish HP and 120 ish mana. What a blunder. Looks like I need to up my hp/mana/defences quite a bit before I can get this done. So far at level 44. What was your level when you attempted this boss? I am currently playing the necromancer with the fire golem and some other minions (wraiths, exploding zombies, etc.)

I keep beating Lagon in Ending the Storm monolith and it's not letting me progress to the next island. Anyone know why? Do you have to one shot it?

You must kill Liath in the 2nd quest before Lagon. Dont spam click the text, read and chose to fight her

They changed the fight its only damagable now by hitting tentacles, so this guide is officially useless
