This brings back so many good memories. Watched it almost 20 years ago on azn tv, formerly the international channel. They used to air some serious bangers like this, Patlabor, Project A-ko, Beautiful Dreamer, Now and then, here and there, and the 90s Black Jack OVAs.

Last Exile, Glass Fleet, Samurai 7, Gankutsuou lost but timeless GEMS. I recently rewatched Vision of Escaflowne plus the movie, it's an amazing isekai I highly recommend it and all of the above.

I remembered seeing this series an being hooked by this song at the end credits waiting for the next episodes. I always wondered why most American cartoons are less mature always really annoyed me which is why I prefer anime.

It's cool, arguably studio Gonzo's best work. It's like a "road movie" type story, lots of travelling and adventure. I gave it a 10 so I'd say def worth watching
