Awesome video I grew up in Penryn, CA and went to airshows at Beale AFB as a kid in the early 80s I was Lucky enough to see the U2 and SR71 t38 and others I was completely amazed with the U2 and SR71 back then they still were able to brake the sound barrier it was amazing! Great video thank you!

Wow I just saw this. I went through U-2/TR-1 training with your dad as you might remember also. What an amazing nice guy...we had some good times together. I think of him often. :)

That was a long time ago! They don't have that tail number any longer and haven't for a long while. It was way back before they painted them all black also.

@MSLTUL How can you tell the glidepath was low from a handheld video cam ? Looks to me like the pilot put it right on the numbers. Nice landing.

@MSLTUL The aim point on the T-38 final approach is several hundred feet in front of the threshold for a nice brick one touchdown.
