To answer your question properly, Germans have a reputation for being quite uptight and strict, and at the extremes, have a reputation for being the type of people who "Don't ask questions, just say yes to the authority". But to reiterate, this is just the stereotype of the German person to other Euros (I'm a non german euro myself), it doesn't necessarily mean this is the essence of the German person, mostly just cultural memes.

I do share the opinion that the name seems a little out of place in esports, combining the name and profile picture it reminds me of a right wing podcast. Especially with the skull(for obvious reasons) and the far right often pushing a narrative of being bastions of freedom againt the "woke left". But the misunderstanding is resolved after looking at all the videos. I dont think it is really quite comparable to Team Liquid or MOUZ/Mouzesports. The names imply that they are some sort of sports teams, while the name last free nation for a podcast really isnt as clear cut, its kind of unfortunate since it might be of putting for people who see the name of the channel and thus avoid watching the videos. For refrence some other far right/conservative podcasts have been called "Rebel news", "Truth be told Radio", "New culture Forum", "We the People Convention" and "Nature and the Nation". Surely you see some resemblance in the names which might confuse someone seeing the name for the first time?
