Zoe Blast Everything about keeping these beautiful animals in captivity is WRONG! They rip the babies from their mothers and it’s horrible and should be illegal. All these big businesses care about is money! MONEY, MONEY, MONEY! I’d much rather live without tons of money than I would to see these animals being abused. It’s no wonder Tillikum killed that girl Dawn. Look what he went through! Sea world should be shut down lock, stock and barrel! It just breaks my heart to know how badly these animals are suffering at the hands of humans all for the love of money. Greed is what it is. PURE GREED!!! They should be ashamed of themselves but then again those that have no heart or souls haven’t the ability to feel empathy for these poor animals or anything or anyone else. It just really hurts my heart to know what they are going through and there’s no one that is willing to step up to the plate and do the right thing for these animals. After Dawn was killed they blamed her instead of themselves. What did they expect was going to happen? You can’t put an animal that is used to swimming 100’s of miles a day in a tiny pool and expect them not to get aggressive over time. These animals are very smart and the offspring stays with its mother all the time. They are also monogamous. They stay with the same mate for life. If you’ve never watched the movie “ Orca, The Killer Whale” try to watch it if you can. It’s a great movie and it tells you a lot about how they are and how they live. It’s not a documentary. It’s a regular movie but it’s pretty old. May be hard to find. My prayer is that someday all animals that are being kept in captivity will one day be released back into the wild where they’re supposed to be. They weren’t meant to be on display as some sort of show piece. It all just boils down to money. Just so sad. 😔🐬🐳🦁🐯🐒🐘🦏🐅🐪🦓🐋🦍🦒 Wishing everyone a very blessed day!

These animals are not just animals they are so smart and if you do any type of research on them you'll figure that out. Ask anyone that works for sea world and they'll tell you that orcas live for 10 years and ask an actual marine biologist they can live longer than 70 YEARS. They only live 10 years in captivity. The fact that sea world Is bringing in another orca into this prison you call sea world is sad. @2makeaplaylist7597 жыл бұрын
They have also become pregnant naturally in captivity. I think they were asking about what would happen if an accidental pregnancy happened at SeaWorld. SeaWorld has stated that if an orca were to get pregnant by accident, they would allow the pregnancy to go through. They wouldn't terminate the pregnancy. Orcas are taxonomically considered both whales and dolphins. They are the largest member of the dolphin family, and all dolphins are whales. Therefore, orcas are both dolphins and whales. Maybe don't call people stupid unless you know what you're talking about.

A sea sanctuary wouldn't work? You've got to be kidding me. No one is proposing that you go and dump the whales in the wild, obviously they don't know how to hunt!!! This whole report is twisting all the facts in Seaworld's favour. It's laughable that they say that they actually care about the wellbeing of the whales when it is all about MONEY. Activists are proposing that they are released into a sea pen which would be much bigger than their tanks and would enable them to be in a natural environment and free of performing, whilst still remaining under human care (food, vet care). They could probably even still charge for people to come and see the animals in their NATURAL environment and performing NATURAL behaviours, without all the suffering!! They wouldn't be totally free but they are free to live the rest of their lives in the natural current of the ocean and possibly even communicate with family across the net. A massive improvement compared to swimming around a concrete bath tub and performing for the rest of your life if you ask me.

one more things. we have little understanding of the affects on theyr "psychy" but they have recorded that they are depressed when kept in captivity. so do some reading..
@2makeaplaylist7597 жыл бұрын
I've done lots of reading, and unbiased, independent research on the issue. First of all, SeaWorld was not the one that used tiny tanks at night. That was Sealand of the Pacific, the park that Tilikum was at before he came to SeaWorld. The use of that tiny tank, or "module," truly was cruel, and if Tilikum was a bit psychotic, I think it would be from those nights at Sealand, rather than anything at SeaWorld. It's true that orcas are capable of swimming up to 100 miles a day. However, this likely isn't "just for fun" -- it's more likely a foraging and hunting behavior. They wouldn't waste valuable calories. Saying that they *need* to swim 100 miles a day to be healthy is like saying that a human needs to run a marathon every month or so just because people are capable of it. Also, to use another example, there are people in third-world countries who have to walk miles every day to get clean water. Would you object to getting clean water put in where they live, because they "have" to walk that far to be healthy? There haven't actually been any scientific studies that show captive orcas to be depressed.
