I love this track so much, I would just sit in Last Light for like 30 40 minutes just letting it loop. The sadness and despair of the whole situation with the shadow curse, while also holding hope of light breaking through one day. I really wish you could return to the land after the curse is broken Also, you should totally cover the Mountain Pass theme!

I love it, this is a very good version of this song, it's one of my favourite and the Last Light inn is one of my favourite locations, I wanted to stay there forever. It's a pure magic ✨

Immediately loved baldurs gate on my first hour playing but it really dawned on me just how special this game is when I was hanging out in last light inn with this song playing and just stopped and listened and looked around for a while to take everything in and get kinda emotional about it that place and later the rooftops overlooking the sea in act 3 were my go-to places to just stop and enjoy the scenery and music for a while. no game before that ever made me completely stop playing to take it in for a bit unprompted by the game itself (no cutscenes or smth to stop you from playing)

It's so funny how in my first playthrough the last light inn went unnoticed by me completely, I played the game without any spoilers whatsoever and that's what happened

Even if BioWare (devs of BG1 and 2) did 4, I don’t know how it could even live up to BG3, let alone attempt to surpass it. BG3 is like lightning in a bottle.

@@Snuggs__ Dragon Age and Mass Effect both had tie-in novels and comics; BG3 backstories would be a great topic for either.

BG3 is basically the embodiement of that spirit, of some talented folks coming together, looking at the status quo and not just saying "nah, that's good enough", but setting their sails to unchartered seas to surpass what''s been there before. Kind of the human artistic spirit if you want...
