Yeah a lot of cross talk in this one. Good for the feeling of 'fun at the table' but found it quite hard to follow. I think I'm going to back it though.. looks really fun!

Coming back to this video since i recently received my pledge, but man, i forgot how difficult this was to watch. Physically painful actually, given how much people kept speaking over each other (loudly too!) and over important bits of info. For future attempts at such videos, I would strongly suggest some kind of real time mic volume control or post fliming editing that can then control the volume on each mic's recording.

I am not really convinced. The 4 x feeling didn't come across as much as I expected co considering Roy as the designer. The graphical design as well as interaction at the table was much more technical or even abstracted than I hoped it would be. The tabletalk was much more about colored token and dice than anything related to the flavor I got in my very first impression. I will still keep an eye on it....

So is there any purpose to the different colors for the planets? From what I can tell it’s just for color but the actual tile you flip over is what matters?

Can Enemy ships move into and destroy constructs on colony ships?

Colony ships and construct can never be attacked.

Do Damage tokens stay on the ships after combat?

Yes, they stay on until that player refreshes, which repairs all damage.

After watching the play through, I think the outer rondel needs to spin faster. I feel like Camilla won because she was sitting the farthest from Tom.

Also, I think Tom wanted to pursue a combat path to victory and it wasn’t going to happen. It would be more feasible if graveyard converted to light faster.

I normally would consider backing this but I've been waiting for a Grey Fox game Arcana Rising for almost 2 years and I still don't have a game. I don't think companies should put more games on crowdfunding before they have fulfilled previous projects. I understand delays but a company saying they can't afford to ship the game they produced doesn't give me hope for their future projects. Sorry Roy maybe when it comes to retail but I don't trust Grey Fox anymore.

This video proves why simultaneous actions don't work well and should never be used in game design. Everything is so chaotic that you're having to stop every round and go "wait, what did you all just do?". It normally ends up taking even longer than if everyone just took separate turns. Almost everything else about this game seems awesome (the stupid half-moon pieces under the planets need to be re-designed into something else), but the simultaneous actions kill it for me.

EVERYTHING I see and hear tells me this game is made for me... to me in person xD But it looks to abstract with cards, map etc etc :/ and the races looks lazy drawn. The planets do not bump it up enough for me :/ they dont looks that cool to me. They looks like the stuff you collected as a kid 80s/90s. But damn I love to play it.. for sure.. but the looks are so important to me.. silly but yeah :/

A 4x game under an hour - I don't think that such a short game can create the same tension as a long game. There is not enough time to conduct all the negotiations, which continue even during the meal breaks, and the breach of contracts hurts more after 3 to 4 hours than after 35 minutes! Why I should play this?

I love Dice Tower and the interactions in most videos, but this video is unwatchable for me personally. I was really looking forward to the insight from Roy, but the loud talking over many of his answers and explanations were too much. 😢

I'm sorry Roy, I really just cannot play a game that gaudy and ugly. It doesn't look like space has anything to do with that board. It just looks like an abstract.
