My dad always said the June Cleaver character added nothing to Leave it to Beaver. I feel like this true of the wife on Last Man Standing. Its interesting how different Vanessa is in this show from how Jill was in Home Improvement. With Jill, Tim was still the main character, but he was frequently the butt of jokes and Jill was the reason or anchor. With Vanessa, she tends to be the butt of the jokes, and Mike seems to have all of the reason. She's a cute character, but someone didn't put a lot of thought in writing for her. Or, they did a phenominal job and I just don't get it. All I can say is her catch phrase puns aren't enough for her character development. Not that we're talking about him, but the Kyle character is written almost exactly like Vanessa. He just provides filler and a sort of "one off" line here and there.

Want to know what I hate about politics it makes people act like children, everyone on the left thinks they are right, and everyone on the right thinks they are right, the whole goal is to keep us divided so that we lose our freedom and the establishment comes in and takes over our freedom.. All politics does it create more hate, and we are putting faith in someone to fix this country, and then when something doesn't go right we blame this person or that person, instead we need to take a look in the mirror and do some self- examination. I'm not better than you and you're not better than me, I don't give a crap who you voted for, and everyone has reasons they voted for a certain candidate. I also will say this too, I have been watching how people are acting and I have never seen so much intolerance as I have from the left. I know Trump supporters and I know Hillary supporters, and what i have found is Trump supporters have been more kind towards me than Hillary supporters have. Hillary supporters talk about tolerance but don't practice it. I believe their is hypocrisy on both sides especially from the news media. I agree with Trump about the news media being fake. Many Hillary supporters can't even see the racial hatred from their own side, Hillary Clinton called black people super predators , and what I hate about the democratic party is they don't care about black people, they only care about their votes. People want to talk about white privilege but you know what I want to talk about " financial power privilege. If you have money and are in power you can get away with a ton of crimes because you can have judges in your back pocket. I wasn't a Bernie Sanders fan but I liked him better than Hillary, but I knew if it came down to Trump or Hillary there was no way in hell that I would vote for Hillary Clinton who can't take responsibility for her own actions, blaming bengazi on a video and all of that. We have had women running for President for over a hundred years. Victoria Woodhull was the first female presidential candidate in 1872, whose running mate was none other than Frederick Douglass. I like that this show has/had the balls to openly speak against the liberal agenda. My only problem is that, whether its the Mike character or the Ryan character, their words are very on the nose. There isn't much fluid or natural feeling dialogue when those two bicker. They become a vessel to carry their respective ideology to a "hammer it home" level. I guess I wish there was some subtlety to their debates. Although, I did see an episode recently where Ryan started to go off on something and Mike said that even Karl Marx would want to slap him for that. That zinger was a long time coming.
