Went to Copenhagen during the week to watch Manchester City play away to Kobenhavn. It's the cleanest city I've ever been to, literally saw no litter on the streets. Parken was a stadium I really wanted to tick off as well. Would love to go back and see this derby one day

@@CarstinTwitch Hi Carstin, In the early 90's I was working for a few months in Denmark. I am a Cambridge United fan, so was looking to go to any matches, and had heard of Brondby, so they became my Danish team. I only saw a couple of Brondby matchees, away at Frem and the home match against Dynamo Kiev, in the days before the ground was developed to what it is now. One day I will get to another game at Vilfort park!

Weird intro. Brøndby is just as much a company as Copenhagen - probably worse. They are owned by a single guy who earned his money in Glencore - a fishy oil company that's been found guilty of bribery and market manipulation schemes - who's now selling it to an American guy, who made his money in Blackstone. On the other hand, Copenhagen has multiple owners, but none of them is as fishy as the ones in Brøndby. They made their money from selling a bank and windmill component company. Plus loads of Brøndby fans are criminals and members of gangs, which is why there couldn't be away fans at the stadion and they are not allowed to have away fans for the rest of the season. You are painting a completely false picture of them.

It was great seeing Copenhagen's proper club, Brondby, finally play in UEFA group stage last season and hopefully they'll be back soon. Go to Hajduk Split when you can. Another club who deserve to play group stage football of an UEFA competition. ⚽

I was at that game, and it has to be said that the feeling of a derby wasn´t there at all. The Brøndby ultras was not singing, waving flags or lighting flares as usual. And even tho i hate the supporters of Fc Copenhagen, i still feel that they should be at the game, but it was a police decision since there were a lot of violence at the previous derby

My mom's friend has a son who was in some pub or casino I don't remember, but he was watching football, and all of a sudden his friend came in, because her other friend got stabbed in the neck by a Brøndby fan. The guy who got stabbed was completely innocent, all he did was have an FCK shirt on. He was later died in the hospital, he was murdered for that on that matchday. This is one of the reasons why I am trying to only keep football as a side hobby and not my whole life, because crazy things can happen if we all end up valuing a damn game so much that people get killed. Please everyone, stay awake, be aware of what happens in the world. Because just as our focus is gone, bad stuff can happen. You can already see people hurting eachother over this fricking game, it's absolutely mental. Stay in your minds!

FCK is not even a club. It's a company. And the Fusion of 2 clubs from outside Copenhagen. Many people support them because of a fake name (and for results). There are loads of clubs in Copenhagen they could support, if they wanted to support a Copenhagen club. You should go to a match between 2 clubs of Copenhagen.

Hahahhaa. Brøndby is a fusion (merger) between two local rivals. Copenhagen is not. People all over the country supports brøndby because they were good in the 90's, pure gloryhunters. They typically support Liverpool for the same reason. Copenhagen plays shit and is bottom of the league, still 28.000 in average and Sektionen is twice the size of sydsiden.

Derimod er de yngre fans nu søgt hen mod fck, fordi børn født efter årtusindskiftet er vokset op med, at fck vandt (næsten) alle mesterskaber samt spillede mod Barcelona, Chelsea etc. Det er ikke tilfældigt, at sektor 12 er firdoblet i antal personer på under ti år :)
