I fully agree with this.. I'm South African and Played it with 200ms and it was soo much fun. The duels, The dingy roams with your mates. Meeting new people the big raids and walker fights! Every 3 months I check the steam player stats to see if the game is still alive. Every 3 months I'm disappointed. It was a money grab because Shroud played it.. Let's just be honest. The Devs don't care.

My biggest issue with this game is that i am a solo player, i find it quite hard to play it

Solo play is very hard I agree as I've played a lot of the game solo in some way. but my point has always been it's meant to be hard. Solo in any survival game is never going to be easy and it shouldn't be, the game is meant to played in a group and should encourage group play while not excluding solo play altogether, which they definitely did in S5 in every bad way imaginable.

@baxino8966 I had a group but they all dropped out as the game was stale, I stayed for a while but ultimately left as it was just too hard to be solo compared to ark. In my opinion people are far less friendly 🤣

This is why server selection and "home basing" shouldn't be a thing. Mega tribes just take over swathes of territory and make it impossible to play as a solo. Make it randomized with team lobby joining, tribe maxing and similar other things and it would limit this issue imo.

the biggest reason this game is basically dead, it the devs themselves, they teased all sorts of new content then dropped the ball and just released nothing, they are horrible at communication, and out of touch with the community, I have some great memories in this game from season 1 and season 5 ( the PVE overhaul update ) combined over 900hrs I sincerely hope this game gets the resurection it deserves, it's a diamond in the rough for sure, it's a great concept

Personally, i'd rather a dedicated team just retook over development or the publisher / dev sold the IP so someone who cares can take it over. Last time i looked not for sale though, They have a habit of letting IP's die.@@baxino8966

Got this game on day of release. Couldnt log in for 48 hours as servers had issues. Entered.. saw NO ONE for 3 days and got bored. Then a month later I read solo was impossibile so I never picked it up again..

BEST GAME EVER!!!! BUT.... Season 5 killed it........ I am truly so disapointed and i really miss the good ol´days with this game. Ive been trying to get started on it again, but season 5 has just messed it all up for me. Me, my clan, friends and so many people ive met online has gone away after this update. Bring back LO to its former glory! PLEASE 😢 -If any1 reading this comment and got acces to "Season 4 servers" please let me know so, im more than happy to join em´ :) For PvP or PvE idc. as long as i can grab em trees again :')

what would dayz be without mods? it was fucking born from mods. it was a mod from the start and bohemia devs claimed it as their property since it was made on their game then they took forever making Dayz standalone and ruined it. they should have left it in the hands of modders

STOP! IT IS NOT A GOOD GAME! The People have spoken! Loud and Clear, the development team aggressively ignorred any feedback. It is a BAD GAME, Rotten from the core! Zero Love Zero tought, it only exists to take away your money. They already making new games to scam you.
