Wow, Wow, Wow, and a quadruple Wow for good measure!!!! What an absolutely awe-inspiring documentary of the world's all time legendary original badass. Certainly there have been pretenders and contenders along the way, but there's only one King Of The Daredevils, Mr. Evel Knievel. May you rest eternally in peace wrapped in the loving arms of the Lord great one.

As a 60 year old man now, as a kid he was a superstar for sure. Interesting, the Caesar jump was 144 feet, the Seattle jump some decade or so later was 133 feet. No wonder he missed it. Had to have been a ton longer than any jump up to that point that early on.

I'm 58 now. Saw Evel in the Houston Astrodome in 75. By 78 I was racing BMX bikes till 83. In later years I've had 15 motorcycles. Nearly killed on a few. Was Evel a bad influence? No. Just an influence 😅

Mr. Knievel reminds me of my own Father. Both can be big bloody jackasses sometimes, but deep down they are still good Men. This is most likely the reason why we say no one is perfect.

Now days you do not move somebody that sustains trauma like that. You have to get them in a spine board by professionals first. It could paralyze them moving them around after that kind of crash.

I split my chin 3 times as a young man. First time emulating Arte Johnson on laugh inn hitting the pole on his tricycle and tipping over. The second was emulating the clown from the chitwood stunt show diving under the ramp and getting my head run over by my best friend. The third was a simple skateboard hitting pebble swan dive, chin first, into the pavement. All of my Evel bicycle stuff went perfect. Mind you, no twelve bus efforts, to be sure.

He doesn't think jumping a motorcycle made him famous??! Really??! (He didn't just acquire fans, by the way. He acquired fans "on the face of this earth.")
