you were up by a lot already so why did take long to move your stop loss to guarantee profit? you only did it when is started to come down and when you did u still left some profit. also why was your target so high? a lot of questions but just trying to learn.

Hi Ezio, the take profit was higher in this trade because I was expecting to maximize my profits by setting the stop loss at a higher level of resistance. (keep in mind, however, that the higher the price of the stock goes, the riskier it becomes). I believe this stock eventually ended up hitting the target after it stopped me out lol. Oh well, it happens. We have to learn how to control our emotions and not get too bummed out when we don't sell at our highest possible profit target. Sometimes, it's okay to get green, grab it, and go with what the market gives us. A lot of it is all in hindsight, that's why it's best to have a record of your trades, so you can go back and study them in more detail. I appreciate your comment, and for watching!
