Zal Cleminson is without question of the absolute GREATS of the guitar. Few other players are as expressive and emotionally inspired as Zal, and his loss from the concert stage leaves a huge void.

I want to like it as I wanted SHAB to continue, I saw the last gig with Zal in London with Mad Max but it is lacking for me. Alex was very good at what he did , fantastic presence on stage , had so much more in terms of content , passion , etc , missed greatly, shame we can't turn the clock back

The SAHB would do well to take a cue from Journey and Foreigner, both of whom have demonstrated that the secret to continuing success in a different era with a new generation of fans is that you must duplicate the voice---and as near as possible the look---of the original singer....complete role playing. Can you imagine these guys with a singer who really looked and sounded like Alex Harvey? Somewhere there's someone out there who IS Alex Harvey in that way. Where are you? You are needed!

Max gets a lot of stick for his fluffs. I maintain though that he's done an excellent job in taking over most of the repertoire and getting it right much more often than not. He also fits in with the style of the material very well. I have seen this line-up nine times now (only saw them in the 70's twice) and am VERY much of the opinion that this band well deserves the name.

SAHB,...really needs another front man. The guy is trying way to hard & he just isnt cutting it. I've always felt that (Stevie Wright) could have been the perfect replacement for Alex Harvey. There are similarities in their singing stlye,...although I think Stevie was alot better singer than Alex.
