Thanks:) YAPP came in handy again, otherwise I would have spent 2 days arranging these books:)

What error did you get? If the models don't have any scripts in them, it's strange that something would crash because of them. At least it never happened to me, so I'm curious what went wrong for you:)

@@SetaLevelDesign did not get a error so had a hard time finding the problem but aparently the reflecion prob texture map resolution were to low so when I did bake them it could not handle it. My setting was 4096x2048 so I needed to change that to 4096x4096 then it worked. But now I have a new bug, I have 2 green lines 1 pixel wide that go vertical on my screen, it started with 1 and now its 2 😅

Great designs. Did you work or are working as a level designer for a video game? Are there video games released which you worked on?
@SetaLevelDesign19 күн бұрын
Thank you:) I work as a Freelancer. It's hard to call it games, because in 90% of cases I usually get orders from the scope of visualization, virtual tours, or recently for example creating an environment that is displayed on the screen of a stationary bike while riding:)

Seta how you make desk texture old?
@SetaLevelDesign21 күн бұрын
You open the texture in an external graphics program (photoshop, krita etc.) then search for a texture for example moss and then apply it to the main texture. You change the blending mode of the texture with moss and you get a ready texture composed of two. You can also use the free program "Materializer" to quickly create a normal map etc. for the new texture:)

very good design. but you know it would look too much good with Detailed Assets.

Please publish slow level design
@SetaLevelDesign22 күн бұрын
I need to see how much material I have from this, and whether it is suitable for slow design. Because I don't remember whether I recorded everything I did from start to finish:)

Good work but Unity definitely doesn't do it justice lol

Thank you:) Unity is not perfect yet but with each update they are moving in the right direction:)

@@SetaLevelDesign You should try either Unity HDRP or Unreal Engine 5 if your gonna try and do realistic Environment Design, not URP lol
@SetaLevelDesign19 күн бұрын
I use URP once every eight videos to show that it is also possible to create acceptable graphics in it. Despite everything, URP is perfect for stylized games:). I am staying away from Unreal for now, but others can create wonders in it that are forgettable in Unity:)
@luckyboy5nu18 күн бұрын
@@SetaLevelDesign Doesn't look like "acceptable graphics" tho, it looks pretty crappy, you didn't even bother to add some global illumination to it so everything looks pitch black and dull this is just a poorly made asset flip tbh
@SetaLevelDesign18 күн бұрын
@@luckyboy5nu I don't know if you know but URP has very limited GI compared to HDRP and here it is mainly based on basic baking of lightmaps, Light Probes/APV and Reflection Probes because URP is designed for performance, not for AAA graphic. And all of it was used in this scene, which is clearly visible in the speed design part of video:) As for asset flip, you are right it's totally an asset flip, I just clicked the 'Make Scene' button in Unity, and voilà:)

flipping heck. did Naughty Dog call you and beg you to go work for them yet?
@SetaLevelDesign4 күн бұрын
Not yet:) but I love their games and the enviro they create is probably the best and most refined I've ever seen, maybe they'll contact me in a few years when I have at least 3% of the skills they present:)
