You know what would be great? As you’re starting the game, each player draws from a hat what position they’re trying for, and they can’t tell the others what it is. Maybe you put 2 slips with each number in the hat, so you could get multiple people fighting to be in the same spot. Then at the end of the game, you win if you successfully ended up in the correct spot. You could have multiple winners, but I think it could be great trying to figure out if someone is trying to win, or trying to build up stars just to trade them away last second, or what.

Others have mentioned it, but this map especially lends itself well to the "You must buy a Star if you land on it." rule because of the ability to lock someone in with the star and/or change its location, trapping someone into getting one.

@@the_elite_truth You DON'T have to buy the star. There is a reason as to why you have an option to decline it. It asks you 3 times, after which you will just walk past it. The only reason you wouldn't buy a star outside of this challenge is if you don't want the star to move to a location closer to your opponents; minus this and the cake map.

Would be really fun if they did this again without knowing what place they should go for until the last 3rd of quarter of the game. Just spin a wheel to see what place wins then people have to come back from where they are or try and maintain the winning position whatever it is.

Doesn't the game literally make you buy the star no matter what? I swear I watched another channel play this and no matter how many times you pick no it makes you take it. I could be thinking of a different version, though, never played this one myself. If not, then yes, having to buy the star if you can afford it is the default I've seen.

Try an escort mission next: two humans and two low level CPUs. The humans are trying to get their chosen CPU to win the game. Game grumps did this somewhat recently and it was awesome.

So on the other channels I've seen do this, they put in a rule where you must buy a star if you reach the star space and have the money to buy it. That rule forces a bit more strategic thinking to go on in the game.

Might be a headache but switching controllers for mini games to try and get someone else to win could be fun 😂. Also good to have players always head to the star and buy if they have the coins, similarly if they cross boo. This makes players try to use or lose all their coins before crossing them. Adds a lil strategy and makes people try to go for more chance time 😜

The odds of getting a Star from the hidden block increase depending on your place and how far you are behind first place's star count. If you are behind by 4 stars and in 4th place you almost always get the hidden star.

I guess they don't know that the lucky block gives rewards based on what position you're in... 1rst place ALMOST never gets a star, 4th place will sometimes get one. I don't know the actual math, but it's probably maximum 25% for 4th place.
