I have to admit that I'm really addicted to those engine sounds. In particular when set at take off thrust. And it doesn't matter which of the three engine types it is.

That's awesome! It's such a beautiful plane to fly on. Flew on the same 747 back in 2018 from Sydney to San Francisco and it was incredible! Certainly something awesome to look back on. 👍 Greetings from South Australia! 😃

I flew in a Qantas 747-400 back in the US summer of 1996: July 19 ,LAX-AKL ; August 11,SYD - LAX. The rides on both flights were awesome. The AA flights I took between Miami and LAX were 767’s.

Wish I was on that flight! Plus you to get to see Antartica. Do you know how long they spent flying around there? Guessing the tkts weren’t cheap.

That's for sure, it would have been an incredible experience! Not quite sure how long they flew around Antarctica though; probs around 5-6 hours depending on the substantial ticket prices. 👍
