Last Raising Sled Dog Video? Probably.

Covid-19 is messing with all sorts of plans, and I think my plans to make the hunting trip my last video here are going to have to change.
Thanks for watching, subscribing, and offering your comments this past year or so! It's been a blast to raise Noun and Verb with you, but now we're on to other things.
I like the idea of keeping this channel open, but I'm canceling my subscription to the music service for this channel and moving it to my new channel. But it's within the realm of possibility that I'll post something every now and then.
My new channel has nothing to do with dogs. You may know I'm a retired English teacher, and I have an absurd idea for a KZbin grammar channel, which sounds very boring, I know. The content is rude and full of swearing to appeal to the youth! I doubt any of you are interested! Happily, no matter what else I think I have to do, the dogs will drive me crazy until I take them for a run, reminding me of some of what really matters to me.

Thanks for your kind words! It turns out that I didn't stay away long. No promises, but I'd bet that I make a video every now and then when inspiration strikes. Nice to hear from Norway! I have a special place in my heart for Norwegians: when I first came to Alaska in college, I roomed with a Norwegian named Thor Floetre who showed me just how amazing winter can be if you embrace it. I wish I could show him how well I ski now!

You know I am terribly sad that this is the last video. Just watching the dogs and the scenery makes me so happy. Best of luck. I do have a question. When you feed Salmon (I see tons of mushers feed salmon), don’t you worry about the bones? I always wonder about the bones.

Ha! No! They don't mean anything to a these dogs. Now, once, back a few years ago, we were saving backbones from the fillets because they had some meat left on them. When we fed them JUST backbones, we did hear a few complaints when the dogs went to the bathroom! Funny, but not so funny! It's been a pleasure Dani! Glad the dogs gave you some joy.

I have just watched all your RSD videos in the last 24 hours. I loved it from start to finish. Verb is a character 😂 would love to know if you have an Instagram I could follow about the dogs and mushing. I’m in the UK and looking at starting dryland mushing.

Verb IS a character! Glad you enjoyed the videos. I do have an Insta, but I'm trying to transition away from focusing on dogs to focusing on a new grammar project. I don't expect much more about dogs and mushing to go up. Thanks for your kind words!

I just want to open up some space for some real dog mushers to make videos. You know anyone who keeps getting new puppies, has video-making experience, and is starting some sort of tour business that might be helped by a KZbin channel? Yeah, seems like a stretch to me too.
