Last Rank Analysis - Third Phase KEAM 2024 Engineering - Provisional

Have tried to check the last ranks - under SM category - for various college/branch combination s based on this new provisional allotment issued by CEE as well as to see variations of the same from previous Phase 2 of 2024 and to compare the same with Final phase of 2023 . This is not any official last rank list as such but then derived using available data in different places , hence may not be accurate and cannot be used for any official purpose by any means. Also since CEE has considered this round in a different way than how it used to be in previous years, that could be one other reason it says " Vacancy Filling" allotment and hence there is no official last rank published by CEE in this allocation round .

Dear Viewers , based on the comments i saw , broadly there were 2 categories of concerns shared by students 1. In cost sharing colleges , some students observed that they despite giving Merit Low fee as higher option in Phase 3 , they found that lower ranked students got Meril Low fee seat where as their seat remained MG ( Merit Full Fee ) 2. Reservation categories - some complained that they got an allotment in a non-preferred lower option college whereas they believe they should have got a seat as per mandatory reservation policies as applicable for their higher order option.

The trend isn't the issue the category allotted is. The reserved categories like ez have very hard cut-off than general itself like are you kidding me !? Then whats the point of reservation , ez students should've gotten general seats if they had the rank.

Sir I think they didnt move category top rankers to SM. Usually if seats are vacant and a category student has a good enough rank he is admitted to that seat under SM but this allotment I feel like only SM students were given seats under SM and no category students were moved up to SM hence very less seats were freed in category also sir can it be because category students didnt particpate in 3rd? Which is more proabable?

The reason for last rank of NSS Palakkad gone down is because the no. of seats for CS has doubled this year. And another reason for down trend in CS in some colleges is that they introduced new CS courses such as AI,ML,Data Science

In general computer science faculties are very bad in all colleges including CET and CUSAT. Probably qualified faculties are nit available because CS people are going fir industry jobs. At the same time Mechanical, EC, EE, Civil and Chemical Engg faculties are very good even in ordinary colleges and fantastic in top colleges. NIT Calicut have excellent faculties in all branches.

Please raise it with CEE as i too have observed similar comments from other students...if you have applied for merit low fee option in phase 3 and other students below your rank got through again in phase 3 , then its a clear case of correction thats needed by CEE. Hopefully these might come into effect in the Final allotment in case they are acknowledging this discrepancy part of phase 3 provisional list.

vacant seats will be filled and when someone lower in the order those vacant seats, again more vacant seats appear in the lower order when people keep moving to new seats allocated...its a logic that will follow...so to answer your question only in TKE college a new course was added and hence new seats there , all other cases vacant seats filling in a loop till all vacancies are met with the phase 3 option list submitted by all students..hope i am not confusing you.

Sir in tkm 8% of seats are reserved for mu candidate.. If there r 120 studets in a batch then 9.6 seats for mu ategory.. But in first and second tey have only taken 8 students.. Acc to second allotment 10690,10696,10882,10965,10997,11002,11089,11126 are alloted to ce uder mu category.. But in 3rd allotment, two of them, 10882,10965 got new colleges but rest others are still under mu category, and newly two students 11978,12013 got alloted under mu category to TKM for ce.. The last rank for SM is 11906 so all students above 11906 should be consodered under sm.. Tere r studemts in 2nd who are alloted under categories.. In third allotment they should be given sm and when coming down others should be alloted to respected seat based on category things... In third this is strictly violated... It was not informed earlier that this was a seat filling round ... This is third allotment af it should follow the rules.. How can the govt play woth the lives of children.. There is neither a large percent increase in qualifiers this year and also no drastic change in no of students who had goven allotment... Also a lot more courses and seats have been introduced amd still the last rank have not incresed.. I was damn sure that i would get into a new clg this tym... Sir, when centres came i had to travel almost 5hrs to reach my centre, then forstly it was saod to pay 2k rupees to take part in allotment and we paid then we paod token fees to confirm our allotment then we paid fees to clg to retain our allotment.. Then cee told in 3rd phase that everyone can take part in allotmnet and date was upto 26/08..then it was extended to 30/08 and again to 2/09..what's this...
