We have a new ship for the fleet! That is a prudent course of action. The start of a strong empire begins with a firm foundation. We require regeneration. I've never forgotten these lines after 20 YEARS. This was such an excellent story, not to mention a perfect soundtrack.

This game unbelievably good. I played it first time in 2002 on an old lap top from the 90s and it worked perfectly! Wish they could do a remaster on both games.

...so the events after Far Point were short. The crew of the 1701-D were made aware of the sphere, the time displacement, and gave that data to Star Fleet. When Picard was assimulated in 'Best of Both Worlds', wouldn't that small event be known by the Borg?

The game was made in 2000, designed to run on computers from that era, 4k was not a thing back then, hell 720p wasn't a thing back then. Modern computers CAN run the game, but results vary depending on your system hardware and software, the GoG galaxy version of the game has the best compatibility but again it is an old game that has not been given the same optimisation care that some other older titles have received, it will run but won't be flawless.
