The kitchen counter is the last area in this house to decorate!!! I have redecorated the whole house starting in January and ending up now!!!

I have collected Antiques Vintage and Primitive items for about 40 years and it’s hard to stop looking and buying and I think I have the most fun shopping for it 😄 At 64 I’m still looking of certain things!! Have fun on your search for those vintage dishes ❤️

Great kitchen redecorating - you never disappoint 👏. I especially enjoy watching & listening to your process, makes me feel like I'm right there w you. We have soooo many similar tastes for vintage! Our kitchens have the same layout except stove & sink are reversed. Even have white cabinets w blk knobs. The big bug is possibly a Mosquito hawk? They look like A super large mosquito. But the don't bite or anything. People say they eat mosquitoes, but that's a myth. I looked it up once just to see, I'm just inquisitive🤷‍♀️ A dog bowl with spurs, that made me giggle😄 Sounds like something you'd find in my kitchen.. with 2 little grandbabies around all the time, no telling what you might find😄 I'm sure I've told you before that i love old wood pieces so much, no matter the size or what it is, i lust love old wood! And you just have the most wonderful pieces! I've seen kitchens with the cubby boxes, so cute! I've been looking for something similar, something with cubbies for my kitchen. I love little lamps in the corner of a kitchen counter. The pans made great outlet covers, great idea! One day I'm going to find my little old table top scale! I'm speaking it forth now!🙌 You have so many!! Oooh my the larger one behind Dolly & Dora is awesome!! I the wire cloach! I have one made of chicken wire, it really cool. All my utensils are red handled, i want rose story

...One of the few things I guess I just don't " get " is so many people trying to hide all the outlets....? ....Because you have to use them.They're just a part of life... lol..Paint them to match your kitchen.Get pretty ones. .... I don't know ,lol...I don't hide my outlets because I have to use them all the time.. ..it would not make sense to me to constantly have to move something to use an outlet. I dont have a lot of Countertop Space, so what I do have is used for what is needed ,in Real Life . I do have a Small Lamp ,and a pretty plate on an Easel holder on one Countertop...but everyday items that are used take precedence over hiding outlets, etc. Lol. I have a shelf above the Kitchen sink that holds sone Decor ,as wrll as part of a cabinet, that I removed the doors, to use for Decor / Display. I like to see " pretties and Decor " in my Kitchen, but theres a Balance , so things make sense with functions and " pretties " . I do understand about being a " Visual Learner", and Visual Decorator, "...lol... I am the same .

Downsize your kitchen by installing wall light that sticks under the cupboards, lamps are taking too much space in your small kitchen. Or try few days without objects on your kitchen counter. Maybe do some gardening or new hobby to distract for buying too much stuff
