I know I'm late to the party here Joe but I'd like to thank you. Some of us have to live vicariously through folks such as yourself and these videos are a wonderful way for us to connect to people and places we're likely never to see. So....thank you for filming your adventure and presenting it to us. Your filming and editing skills are top notch and it makes for a fun ride. I'm really looking forward to what you get up to next.

Hello Joe! Thank you very much for showing us your wonderful country. You have a natural gift for describing your impressions of the moment of your motorcycle trip, it's as if we were there with you. For a French Canadian from Montreal, Quebec, your accent adds a bit of exoticism to your images. Australia for me has always been a distant and mysterious land. Thanks to your videos, I travel as if I were there... Incredible Tasmania, the Nullarbor desert, Australian West Coast! Wow! Thanks again, I look forward to seeing your next videos.

I just watched all 23 episodes over this weekend. This was such a pleasure, such a wonderful vicarious experience, and made all the better by your personality. Thank you so much! I'm just getting back into riding after a five year break (I used to do 40,000km a year of it, but then a couple of crashes in succession with kangaroos on highways spoiled the passion for a time). Two weeks ago I bought a bike again. Watching this has been perfect timing.

I've thoroughly enjoyed both series. The places you've shown us are amazing and I'm glad it wasn't me sitting on the Himmy for those long days in the saddle. How amazing is that bike. Hard to fathom how reliable it's been considering the tracks you've taken it on and of course, you yourself just keep on going no matter what. A huge thank you for all of it.

Whispers of yesterday fade with the sun, Journey’s end but tales have just begun, Steps retraced in the mind’s silent play, Marking an end, in a beautiful way. Footprints on sand, washed by tide’s gentle sweep, Moments captured, in heart’s memory keep, Sunsets promise, a new dawn on display, Closing a chapter, in its own special way. Endings are merely a pause, not goodbye, Destinies intertwined, under the sky, Journeys end, but memories forever stay, Marking their place, come what may. I am a little sad that your journey is finished, but it is better that good things have an end, so that they can be appreciated all the more. Great filming, editing, commenting and music selection. All the very best and I look forward to your next trip!

@@brownneedles6968 Thank you for the offer of support mate.I do want to do something that would offer something of value, I am looking into selling prints of the photos from the trips but the price to print manage and ship something of quality is quite expensive ( I am working on this), people have also asked about a coffee table photo book which again is very expensing so would need to sell a lot of them to have any change of making money back. I was think of setting up a patron page, which would have a lot of extra behind the sense videos of the filming, taking photos and the other behind the sense (Patron is a membership where you get access to extra stuff and can have tiers, so depending it might be $5 or $10 a month). The super Thanks (I think you have to be sign into your youtube account first) on a desktop or laptop is a button just below below the video in the same area as the title of the video next to share. Loving your videos. Myself and the missis took our Himalayans down through Europe from England to the German Alps last year- following the WW1 front line down through France on the back roads, through a couple of national parks. Sadly the weather was utterly awful- raining so much even Germans were giving up camping- so we headed back up to the Netherlands. The Himalayans took it all. Fantastic machines.

@@freewayproject it certainly was interesting- there are some enormous old bunkers by the side of the roads. Quite sobering too when vìsiting the cemeteries such as Messines Ridge- hundreds upon hundreds of gravestones. The route we followed was purely by looking at a map and heading towards places I had heard of on the B roads- there was no specific route. We found some beautiful little roads, purely by accident. On the way back we stopped at Bastogne and Overloon- two famous battlefields from WW2. It is a trip I can recommend.

I've really enjoyed this trip. For me, the whole draw of KZbin channels like yours is that I am able to travel to countries I will probably never visit, and see the remarkable sites and places that you see, and you have shown us some absolutely stunning places. Thank you. Oh and in the UK there are still many red telephone boxes, but they have many alternative uses; micro libraries or art galleries, sites for emergency defibrillators, community information centres... all sorts, except in parts of North Wales where mobile phone signals cannot reach, there, they still contain pay phones. Also, interesting to see Ilfracombe in the middle of Queensland. The town of the same name here is in North Devon and is a famous seaside holiday destination. A more stark difference between two towns with the same name it is hard to conceive of. Looking forward to your next videos.... whatever the subject.

Thanks for the continued support Neil, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series. I do know of just the one red phone box in Australia still working on the main street of Bangalow NSW I think they keep it there in front of the old post office for the look. that one out in the middle of the QLD out back was all fiction. I think I might have to come see some of these phone boxes you speak of especially if there is no mobile reception, it sounds isolated and that sound interesting. There are a lot of towns that there names come from areas in the UK, but yes as you say the 2 Ilfracombe are worlds apart. hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.

Some great memories triggered in this video - thanks. Drove a Combi from Darwin to Cairrns 50 years ago (must have been breathing some "fumes" from somewhere / "something" - 4 of us plus a Labrador couldn't work out how to read a dip stick at the Barkley Homestead. The attendant was in hysterics and assured us everything was fine with the oil 🤣). Man, you must have a "cast iron Butt" - an hour on my Himalayan and I've had it - getting old sucks 😄. Looking forward to the next adventure, thanks for sharing, especially with those of us too old to admit how old we really are and can really only dream of trips like this now. Cheers Joe, safe travels.

Thanks for the continued support mate, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series. Well we stopped at the QLD border after stopping at Barkley Homestead to get a photos, but the Kombi wouldn't start (the starter motor was getting sticky, we worked out the next day if we hit it with a spanner it would work again) so we pushed the kombi across the boarder but there use to be a cattle grid so they kombi kept going with no one it it haha (we eventually caught it) man was that a shitty road when you hit QLD back then. I ended up doing 4 day of between 850km and 1000km a day, I was feeling it by the end. Hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there exploring.

Thanks Joe for a truely remarkable journey round your home countyr. You've shown us the sights from a unique perspective; your photography, videography, editing music and commmentary is outstanding, and I don't say that lightly. I look forward to your vlogs, and save them for a time of the week when I can relax and enjoy them with a coffee or a beer. My goal this year was to get my motorcylce licence, which I achieved in June, I bought a RE Scram 411, and love every minute of riding. You're inspiring me to plan travels further afield. Now where did I put that passport? Thanks Joe, can't wait for the next series, and a superthanks is on the way.

😊 you for sharing your beautiful trip and photography. You have shown two things that can be of reference for many out there that are looking in starting an aventure riding a motorbike, one, there is not necessarily to have a very expensive bike and gear to do it and second showing that the selecting a bike that is light enough for the rider be independent and not relaying on others when a problem can occur. I have seen so many motorbike globetrotters that are not capable of lifting upright the bike when they have dropped it because the weight and that IMHO is irresponsible. I am looking forward to see your next videos, take care and keep the dreams alive.

Thanks for the continued support Arthur, I'm stoked you enjoyed the series. On your first point, not only is my bike on the less expensive side, I actually got mine second hand. Also I am not really fond of canned tuna (it's an on going joke through the series) but again if I keep the cost down I can go for longer, go further. If I has saved up for one of the bigger bike, I will still be saving and have not even left yet. On the second point, that is one of the criteria I had when looking for a bike, I had to be able to pick it up as I was traveling on my on and I was going to be going places with no one around. Also I needed something like a tractor that would just keep going. hopefully it won't be too long before I am back out there .exploring.

Joe, how can we all give an overwhelming thank you, you know incredible journeys that are shared makes us all really seem as we were apart of this with you, liking every video from day one helps you but it’s about helping like minded people like us, and I know others will follow suit in saying to you, a huge thank you for taking us along, I will go back and continue to watch over again, I still say your country would be on my bucket list if I could, not sure what’s next but rest assured I’m sure we’re all on board with what ever you put out there. On another note, what you were dealing with we here in the states deal with on a regular basis, the unpredictable weather, don’t you just love going through all the hassles of putting on rain gear only to not need it at all. Another wonderful series Mr Ryan, it was absolutely fantastic to see the country and landscape in the manner in which you present it. I normally prefer off-road and technical trail videos, so the fact that I have watched Series 1 and 2 in relatively quick succession means that your production has a little bit of magic dust sprinkled in it. Looking forward to starting on Series 3 now. Oh and by the way, you asked me to let you know if i thought you became more comfortable in front of the camera by end of season 2 - well yes from Bungle Bungle onwards, at least for me, it felt more natural.
