Maybe the bowl was slippery, i don't feel like charlie did it on purpose, if you slow the video down it will show the bowl falling already before he touches it and it slams to the floor. But i don't know for sure, it was just a theory of what happened. Also if the camera was faced little bit more towards him we could find out.
